Genesis 1: 27-28 says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” What’s the first thing He did after God created mankind? The Bible says, that He blessed them. That has always been His heart toward us and it always will be.

This Week's Episode
Episode 7: Dead Religion. Living Faith.
Genesis 2.16-17 says, “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.'" Religion is all about doing good and avoiding evil, but God is interested in something better. Not moral living, but miraculous living. That's the difference in dead religion and living faith.
Episode 8: Where are you?
After the fall in the Garden, Genesis 3.8-9 says that Adam and Eve “heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?” What a mistake. They thought sin had changed God's mind toward them but it had actually changed their minds about Him. Many still live with that mistaken idea today. God doesn't move away from sin. He moves toward those trapped in it.
Episode 9: Don’t be afraid!
The Incarnation of God in Jesus is the greatest moment that has ever occurred in time or eternity. Luke 2:10-11 describes how the angel spoke to the shepherds: “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” Dead religion causes people to be insecure about whether they're in good standing with God or not. Jesus came to put those fears to rest, once and for all.
