This Week's Episode

Episode 1: God is Love

1 John 4:8 says that, “God is love.” God is love! If God is love, then how could pure, perfect love produce anything that contradicting to love? The mixture would render it impure. Our God is pure love personified, and everything about Him must be understood from that single vantage point. Do you believe God is good? Is God really that good? God loves you. No strings attached.

Episode 2: In the Beginning, God…

October 18, 2019

The first verse of the Bible says, "In the beginning, God..." Our God exists as Three-In-One, which indicates that He is, first and foremost, relational. God is a relationship! He is never alone. He is not an isolated being. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are in union. That fact brings a thrilling reality to human beings.

Episode 3: A Dancing God

October 25, 2019

Have you ever imagined God dancing? The early church leaders used the word perichoresis when they spoke of the relationship among the Trinity. The word actually means "a circle dance." When we see that kind of joyful God, our lives are turned from the duty of dead religion into a dance of grace!

Episode 4: In the Beginning Was the Word

November 1, 2019

John 1.1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God." Who was that word? Christ is the Word of God. Words are intended to communicate. What is it that God intended to communicate and to whom was this communication intended? It was for us. He had something very important He wanted to tell us. In Jesus Christ, we have been given the message.

Episode 5: God’s Essence

November 8, 2019

Imagine using a pie chart to illustrate God’s essence. How would you show the places His love, justice, and wrath hold in His nature? Would you divide the pie into three equal pieces? Or would you have a very large piece of the pie signify His love and two smaller pieces represent His justice and wrath? How would you divide the love, justice, and wrath of God? The fact is, such a division doesn’t exist in God’s divine nature. Instead, the entire piecrust is the love of God, and every other aspect of His nature is a piece of the pie. God isn't just loving. He is love. That fact can change a lot of theological error.

Episode 6: In His Own Image

November 15, 2019

Genesis 1: 27-28 says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." What's the first thing He did after God created mankind? The Bible says, that He blessed them. That has always been His heart toward us and it always will be.
